
On Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at approximately 11:43 a.m., the Wells Fargo Bank located inside of the Vons grocery store at 4725 Clairemont Drive, San Diego, California was robbed by an unknown male using a demand note. At the time of the robbery, the robber walked into the Vons grocery store and loitered in the area of a flower stand. The robber then walked up to the victim teller’s window and presented a demand note for cash. The robber also made a verbal demand for money. The teller complied with the robber’s demands and provided a sum of money. After receiving a sum of money the robber walked out of the grocery store in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported and no weapon observed.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows:
■Sex: Male
■Race: White
■Age: Mid-40s to early 50s
■Height: Approximately 6’0” tall
■Weight: Approximately 220 lbs.
■Build: Medium/heavy
■Eye color: Unknown
■Hair/Coloring: Black and white mustache
■Clothing: White, buttoned down, striped shirt; blue jeans; dark colored hat with light colored emblem on brim; and black, long haired wig
■Miscellaneous: Black, neck-length wig
