February 10, 2010 - Acting United States Attorney Robert S. Cessar announced today, February 8, 2010, that Reheim M. Harris, a resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced in federal court in Johnstown to 10 years in prison and five years' supervised release on his conviction of various federal narcotics offenses.
United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Harris, age 36.
According to information presented to the court by Assistant United States Attorney John J. Valkovci, Jr., from January 2007 to August 7, 2007, Harris, together with five co-defendants, conspired to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin and five grams or more of cocaine base, commonly known as "crack." In addition, on August 7, 2007, he possessed less than 100 grams of heroin with the intent to distribute it.
Mr. Cessar commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation/Laurel Highlands Resident Agency, the Cambria County Drug Task Force, and the Johnstown Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Harris.
