Home Invasion Suspect Arrested in Greensboro, North Carolina by U.S. Marshals



Greensboro, NC – Yesterday morning at 10:30 AM, Jarvis Javone Jones, a 21 year old, Black Male, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF) and the Greensboro Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT). Jones was wanted by the Greensboro Police Department for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon (three counts) and Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury (one count). These charges arose from a home invasion robbery that occurred on May 7, 2014 at 909 Circle Drive. Jones is suspected of robbing three individuals that were inside the apartment and assaulting one victim with a revolver.

Jones was arrested without incident at 7 Covey Lane, Apartment F. JFTF transported Jones to the Guilford County Detention Center where he received a $35,000 bond.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Winston-Salem Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Department of Community Corrections – Probation & Parole.
