June 18, 2010 - The FBI Salt Lake City Division would like to inform the media and the public that laboratory test results on a powdery substance sent to the FBI office in Pocatello, Idaho were negative for hazardous materials and toxic substances.
On June 15, 2010, the FBI Salt Lake City Division issued a news release stating that lab tests conducted on suspicious substances discovered at federal offices in Boise and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho were also negative.
The FBI is awaiting lab results on the powdery substance that was sent to the FBI office in Salt Lake City.
The substances were discovered Monday June 14, 2010 at FBI offices in Salt Lake City, Pocatello, and Coeur d’Alene and at the U.S. Attorneys’ Offices in Coeur d’Alene and Boise.
