Robbery of the TruMark PNC Branch


The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the individual responsible for the robbery of the TruMark Financial Credit Union branch at 1811 JFK Boulevard a short time ago. The subject responsible for this robbery is believed to be the same subject responsible for the robbery of the PNC Bank branch at 230 South Broad Street last Wednesday, April 21st, 2010.

At approximately 11:17 AM, the unknown subject entered the TruMark branch and presented a threatening demand note a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject exited the rear of the bank and was last seen on foot headed westbound on JFK Boulevard. The subject is described as a white male, late 20’s, 5’3” to 5’4” tall, husky build, clean shaven face, very closely cropped hair, wearing a gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt and black sweat pants with a white stripe on the legs. In last week’s robbery of the PNC, the subject had a beard and mustache.

Three pictures from today’s robbery are attached to this email. This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.
