June 3, 2010 - ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Gregory Jones, FBI Atlanta, announces the following arrest at Savannah, Georgia:
Danny Frank Goodermote, age 52, a contract helicopter mechanic assigned to Winder, Georgia, was arrested at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia, on Friday, May 28, 2010 regarding an investigation into child pornography. Goodermote is charged via federal criminal complaint with possession of child pornography after it was determined that he had multiple images downloaded onto a personal laptop computer that he had in his possession.
The public is reminded that all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
