Robbery of TruMark Financial Branch in Philadelphia

June 2, 2010 - The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the TruMark Financial branch located at 1811 JFK Boulevard earlier today.

At approximately 1:13 p.m. the subject entered the bank and made a threatening verbal demand to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot and was last seen headed westbound on JFK Boulevard towards 19th Street. The subject is described as a black male, 40-50 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, medium build, medium complexion, full lips, with a mustache and salt-and-pepper beard, wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a dark blue or black windbreaker, dark pants, and white sneakers.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
