The FBI and the Springfield Township (Montgomery County, PA) Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the armed robbery of the TD Bank branch located at 1240 Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown, PA earlier today.
At approximately 10:25 a.m., an unidentified subject entered the bank, brandished a dark-colored semi-automatic pistol, and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, which the subject put into a clear plastic trash bag that he was carrying, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot. There were no injuries.
The subject is described as a black male in his 20’s, 6’2” tall, 180 pounds, thin build, wearing a cap, a dark gray suit jacket and pants, a dark t-shirt, and blue or green latex surgical gloves. He was carrying the pistol in his left hand.
This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Springfield Township Police Department at 215-836-1601.
