FBI Releases Photographs in Latest Hoax Bomb Bank Robbery


April 3, 2010 - The FBI is releasing two photographs from a bank robbery that took place today at Regions Bank, 400 North Pine Island Rd., Plantation, Florida at around 12:30 p.m. The robber walked into the bank and approached the teller, presenting a note and a hoax bomb device in a bag. The teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of money and left the bank, leaving the bag on the counter. The robber is believed to be responsible for two other bank robberies as follows:

Bank of America
18350 NW 2nd Avenue
Miami Gardens, Florida

The bank robber is described as follows:
Race: Black
Sex: Male
Age: Early 20’s
Build: Athletic
Clothing: Wearing a suit with a Panama/fedora hat
